you dont need the gears. take them off. i ride 4x and i have beaten many people who ride gears on my single speed.

LOL. i saw some guy do a similiar thing turning up to chicksands. except he went into the ditch backwards. unfortionatly all but one of there bikes where on the rear bike rack. lols

i completly agree. you might have probably tried this but i suggest u hang around by your local trails. i had my bike stolen and i got it back three days later when i saw it being riden at my local trail
